This is a bad-news beta, sorry folks.
The latest operating system beta of iPadOS 17 and iOS 17 (beta 4) has introduced a bug with the new drawing tools (monoline, watercolor, fountain pen, and crayon) that prevents notes from saving and loading properly in Penbook. For the time being, we have to take them away to protect your work against data loss.
The old writing tools (pen, marker, pencil crayon) still work fine and are safe to use.

- Fixed pages sometimes not getting unique identifiers

- In iOS 17, the selection lasso still does not function
