Failure of backup

I’ve used this app for a few years, more over this past year. I have many notes that I’ve taken and several books for notes. I recently had to uninstall and reinstall due to some technical difficulties on my old iPad. I lost 4 months worth of notes. In order for that not to happen again, I was trying to ensure that my app was synced to iCloud. For some reason, it will not sync to iCloud at all. I’ve gone through all suggestions found on google and it does not work. Also, backing up the app and attempting to place it in my files does not work either. When I attempt to open the file after a backup, it’s blank and has none of my notes.

I would really like a simpler solution for this issue. I pay for this app and I like its features, but I’m soon going to have to cancel my subscription and move to another app because I can’t risk losing my hand-written notes again.

Join the club. There have been numerous complaints about this and nothing has happened.

The only way I found to get it to sync was to delete Penbook from all my devices and start again. I wondered if there has been some conflict between changes being made in the same book on different devices (not sure if you use Penbook on more than one device) and the cloud not being able to reconcile them so it just stops working? I’m not a programmer though, so I’ve no idea.
