Hey - Annual Premium Subscription is noted as $49.99 for me here in Australia - is that correct? (yes, there’s a 50% discount for the first year). Reviews I’ve read note US$14.99 per annum, which is about AU$22.

That’s correct - the current price is US$29.99 / year, which I guess Apple’s pricing tier rounds up to AU$49.99.
